Welcome, this is the website of Fernando Moreno Herrero.

After three years of Postdoctal research at the Molecular Biophysics group at Delft (The Netherlands), I started my own lab to carry on independent research in single molecule biophysics.

We are interested in studying DNA-protein interactions at the single molecule level using Atomic Force Microscopy, Magnetic and Optical Tweezers and standard biochemical techniques.

These pages will give you a short overview of my interests, my past activities, and progress.

News: I was recently awarded with an European Research Council Starting Grant to study DNA repair with Single Molecule Techniques and there is one opening:

Postdoc Position: 2+2 year EU postdoc position on Fast Atomic Force Microscopy on molecular nanomachines. (Starting mid 2009).
